RATES
Square Inch Price
I charge .025 cents per square inch for all designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x = $120.00.

My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.
Thread
I use high quality quilting thread by Superior Threads. There are many color choices. My favorite thread is Omni. It is a 40 weight thread made for longarm quilting. I like to blend the thread color with the fabric colors.

There are no additional fees for thread. It is included in the cost of the quilting.
Batting
I use and stock my favorite battings Quilters Dream Request is 100% cotton and Hobbs 80/20. You may purchase either of these from me or provide your own batting.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 6" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 66" of the batting of your choice.
66" of Quilters Dream Select 100% cotton @ $0.38/in = $25.08
66" of Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.29/in = $19.14
7 % Indiana Sales tax will be added to batting cost.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Indiana, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the State of Indiana to collect a 7% sales tax on batting purchased from Blueberry Bobbins. Quilting services, shipping, and any design/pantograph fees are not subject to sales tax.
Payment
After the work is complete, I will notify you of the final costs. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away. In person clients may pay by check, cash, paypal, or venmo. Mail in clients will pay by paypal or venmo.
